"To be fair, a lot of people ask Roderigo what time it is. He is *very* handsome," Det. Boyle offers helpfully.
A lean guy in his early twenties with a LOT of eyeliner gives them a friendly wave from where he's seated at the Sergeant's desk.
"That *is* objectively true," Danny agrees, and gives Casey a rakish grin. "Something you want to share with the class, Case?"
"This is so embarrassing," Casey moans.
"He really did just ask for the time, man," Roderigo volunteers.
"Sanchez *is* the one who brought you in," Sergeant Jeffords says thoughtfully.
"Heh, he totally has a crush on you, Rigo," a new guy with a cute, rubbery face approaches to give Roderigo a high five.
"Dude's got issues. You want to file a harassment report?" Diaz says to Roderigo.
"Nah. Can we just get out of here now? I think that dude's kind of famous or something. He doesn't need this kind of trouble."
Rubberface glances up at Dan and his eyes widen, glancing back and forth from Dan to Casey.
"Casey McCall! And you're Dan Rydell!"
"That would be us," Danny agrees.
Rubberface sticks his hands between the bars to shake Casey's hand, "Big fan, huge fan, Casey," and then turns back to Dan and *blushes*.
Before he can introduce himself, a suave looking gentleman in a uniform approaches and extends a hand.
"Daniel Rydell. I'm Captain Holt. It's a pleasure. I wonder if I might trouble you for an autograph. My husband's a big basketball fan."
Rubberface seems to have recovered enough to announce, "I doubt the veracitruthity of that statement."
"Veracitruthity is not a word," says another new face, a businesslike brunette.
"Well, to be frank, he's more of a Jason Collins fan, and he sighed over a lot of magazine photos of the two of you when you were dating. I'm sorry it didn't work out," he says.
"There was just too much travel for us to make it work with my hours. He's a good guy, though."
"Kevin really will be disappointed if he finds out I've met you and didn't get proof," Holt says, levering a solemn look at Dan that makes him worry that *he's* blushing.
"I think we can help with that. May I?" Dan borrows a marker and and a sheet of paper from Jeffords and signs it. Dan asks for the Captain's phone and has the brunette take a shot of the two of them while he's holding a sign that says, "Hey Kevin! Proof that I met your man. Dan Rydell."
Rubberface, who does not seem to understand what whispering is, sputters, "Oh my god, he's on Kevin's list!!"
Boyle blinks at him.
"The list? You know, of people you get a pass on if you ever get a shot at them?"
